Intro: Start dance after first 16 beats of music
Charleston, step right, ½ turn left, step right, ½ turn left
1,2Touch right toe forward; step right foot slightly back.
3,4Touch left toe back; step left foot slightly forward.
5,6Step right foot forward; ½ turn left weighting left foot.
7,8Step right foot forward; ½ turn left weighting left foot.
Lindy right, lindy left
9&10Step right foot to side, step left foot next to right, step right foot to side.
11,12Step left foot back; replace weight onto right foot.
13&14Step left foot to side, step right foot next to left, step left foot to side.
15,16Step right foot back; replace weight onto left foot.
Shuffle forward right, step left, ½ turn right, shuffle forward left, step right, ½ turn left
17&18Step right foot forward, step left foot next to right, step right foot forward.
19,20Step left foot forward; ½ turn right weighting right foot.
21&22Step left foot forward, step right foot next to left, step left foot forward.
23,24Step right foot forward, ½ turn left weighting left foot.
Kick right-out R-out L, hip bumps left, hip bumps right, ¼ turn left sailor step
25&26Kick right foot forward, step right foot slightly to side, step left foot slightly to side.
27&28Bump hips left, center, left.
29&30Bump hips right, center, right.
31&32Making ¼ turn left cross left foot behind right, step right foot slightly to side, step left foot slightly to side and forward.
*When danced to “Headin’ West” Restart the dance after 8 counts on wall 4.
**Note: When danced to “Hot Dog” or “Headin’ West”, on the last repetition number 11 (the 3rd time starting facing the back wall); over rotate on the sailor turn to finish the dance facing the front wall.
