How to get the most out of LineDance.com
Set up your profile, build dance lists for your classes and events, and share them with your dancers in a couple of taps. Here's everything you can do — with a short walkthrough video for each step.
Edit your profile & name
Your profile is how the community sees you — your name, photo, where you dance, and whether you're a Dancer, Instructor, or Choreographer.
- Sign in, then click your name in the top-right and choose My Profile.
- Update your first & last name, profile photo, location, and dancer type.
- Add your social handles and a short bio so people can find and follow you.
- Choose whether your hub is public (others can see your lists) or private, then Save.
Build a dance list (your playlist)
A list is your set of dances for a class, social, or event — like a Spotify playlist, but for line dances. Build as many as you like in your MYHUB.
- Go to MYHUB and click New list.
- Give it a name — e.g. "Beginner Mondays," "Workshop Sept 2026," or "Country Classics."
- Find dances with Search or the Trending menu, open a dance, and save it to your list.
- Re-order, rename, or remove dances any time. Your list shows the count, step sheets, and teach/demo videos for each dance.
"Beginner Mondays" — your weekly class set list
Teaching a Monday beginner class? Make a list called Beginner Mondays and add the dances you'll cover. Each week, update the order, drop in a new dance, and your whole class can pull up every step sheet and teach video from one link — no more scribbled song lists or "what was that one called?"
Make a list public & shareable
Lists are private by default. When you're ready to share one, flip it to public with a single click — it gets its own clean page that anyone can open, no account needed.
- In your MYHUB, open the list you want to share and click Make public — a green Public badge appears.
- A share panel pops up with your list's link. Copy it, or hit Facebook to post it straight away.
- Your list now has its own public page — every step sheet and video, ready to go, for anyone with the link.
- Changed your mind? Click Public again to switch it back to private.
Choreographers: submit your own dances
Are you a choreographer? Add your dances straight to the LineDance.com archive. Your dance publishes immediately — fully searchable, on your profile, with a printable step sheet and your teach video built right in.
- Verify your choreographer profile first: find it under Browse → Choreographers and claim it. If your sign-in email matches the one on file it links instantly; otherwise a quick admin OK does it.
- Open Submit a Dance from the top menu and fill in the details — title, count, wall, level, music, and your teach/demo video links.
- Type the steps (count on the left, the move on the right — just like a printed sheet) or upload a file (.txt, .pdf, .doc, .docx).
- Hit Publish — your dance goes live on your profile and in search right away, PDF and all.
