SECTION I: SANTA ARRIVES AFTER A LONG LONG RIDE
[TAP RIGHT HEEL, SHUFFLE STEP FORWARD LEFT FOOT, ¼ TURN LEFT ON LEFT FOOT WITH CRESCENDO HANDS CLAPS]X3; LARGE STEP FORWARD RIGHT FOOT, STOMP LEFT FOOT NEAR RIGHT, BEND RIGHT KNEE AND BACK, TOUCH HAT.
1 & 2: Tap right heel, shuffle step forward (left foot) & ¼ turn left on left foot, clap hands
3 & 4: idem, clap-clap hands
5 & 6: idem, clap-clap-clap hands
7 & 8: Large step forward with right foot & heavily stomp left foot near right, keeping your right knee and back bent while touching your hat (or your red Santa’s hood)…
(You’ve made a ¾ turn left)
SECTION II: SANTA SCRUTINIZES ALL CHIMNEYS AROUND
ROCK STEP FORWARD LEFT FOOT, SPIN RIGHT ON RIGHT FOOT; IDEM WITH THE OTHER LEG.
1 & 2: Step left foot forward & rock back on right foot
3 & 4: Spin right on right foot (complete turn), while spinning, put your right hand above your brows, like a cap visor
5 & 6: Step right foot forward & rock back on left foot
7 & 8: Spin left on left foot (complete turn), while spinning, put your left hand above your brows, like a cap visor
(You’re still facing the same wall…)
SECTION III: SANTA JUMPS IN CHIMNEY
HITCH, KICK, HOOK, STOMP RIGHT LEG; IDEM LEFT LEG.
While moving legs, move hands as you’re holding an invisible rope: alternately right hand below left then left below right… If stuck in chimney: push down hard, alternately on right and left hand
1,2: Hitch right leg, Kick right foot
3, 4: Hook right leg on left leg, stomp right foot heavily near left foot
5,6: Hitch left leg, Kick left foot
7, 8: Hook left leg on right leg, stomp left foot heavily near right foot
SECTION IV: SANTA LAYS BOXES AROUND THE XMAS TREE
AFRICAN ‘ROUND-THE-CLOCK, SIMPLE VERSION, WITH MOVING HANDS

Keep your back bent and move hands up and down just as you were laying boxes on the floor, in circle…
1, 2: Step right foot forward, Right foot near left foot
3, 4: Step right foot aside on right, Right foot near left foot
5, 6: Step left foot backward, Left foot near right foot
7, 8: Step left foot aside on left, Left foot near right foot
And do it again, folks!
