Simon Ward is an internationally renowned line dance choreographer, instructor, judge and emcee from Kiama on the New South Wales coast of Australia, who published his first step sheet in 1993 and has since created well over 240 dances. He tours and teaches workshops across the globe — from Australia and New Zealand to the USA, UK, France and South Korea. His honours include multiple Crystal Boot "Advanced Dance of the Year" awards, the 2022 Male Dance Personality of the Year, and induction into both the Australian Line Dance Floor of Fame (2016) and the UK Crystal Boot Hall of Fame (2017). His best-known dances include "Million Dollar Smile", "Opalite" and "The Sphinx".
